The Charantais (inhabitants of Charante Maritime, the department of origin of Cognac) were able to sell their brandy first to the Dutch and then to the British navy merchants in the 16th century who in turn marketed it world wide. Undeniably, most Cognac are fine, refined and elegant products mainly due to the terroir, production techniques, care in aging, and expertise in blending.

   08.02.2010 - Moscow- ProdExpo 2010
On February 8-12, 2010 “Moscow- ProdExpo” exhibition took place in Moscow. The official sponsor was “Luding” company, the official representative of Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory in Russia. Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory was one of the participants exhibiting all its enchanting brandy products as well as two new brandies "Gift" and "Traditional". Armenian brandies were notable for their unique taste and aroma. At the exhibition Armenian brandy was highly evaluated. The factory was awarded with “Loyal to old traditions” prize. The prize is really justified because Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory is the source of brandy making and here we keep old traditions about our remote past.
